'When you see something, you are supposed to tell the energy what year it is and that they don’t belong there.'
Enter the magik circle on Saturday, December 13th when Leslie Flint welcomes Lindsey Boldt to Berl's Poetry Bookstore.
Lindsey Boldt is a poet, performer, editor and educator living in Oakland. She is the author of the full-length book, “Overboard”, and the chapbooks, “Oh My, Hell Yes” and “Titties for Lindsey”. With her partner Steve Orth, she co-edits Summer BF Press and writes, directs and performs plays in the style of “Oakland Poetic Realism”. Recent productions include “Dating by Consensus” and “The Reading”. She is also an editor with The Post-Apollo Press.
**Leslie Flint is a monthly reading series at Berl's involving a single writer holding court for the entire evening. A combination reading/lecture/performance, the event has been named in honor of the twentieth-century British spiritualist Leslie Flint, who claimed to hear the voices of the dead. Poet and general charlatan Jamie Townsend is the currant Leslie Flint.
