Thylias Moss is Professor Emerita in the departments of English and Art & Design at the University of Michigan. Her ten previous books of poetry include Last Chance for the Tarzan Holler, a National Book Critics Circle Award finalist, and Slave Moth, named Best Poetry Book of 2004 by Black Issues Book Review. Her latest book, Wannabe Hoochie Mama Gallery of Realities' Red Dress Code: New and Selected Poems, has just been published by Persea Books. Together with Small Congregations, Wannabe provides a true and comprehensive collection of Thylias work. Moss is a recipient of the fellowships from the Guggenheim and MacArthur foundations, among other honors. She lives in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
Born 1967 in Lucerne, Switzerland, Matthias Reinhard-Deroo lives in Brooklyn, out of Zurich. He has attended a Benedictine Abbey School in in Switzerland, studied Law at the Universities of Basel (JD) and Bern (PhD in Law Philosophy and US Federal Indian Law, part of his research done at NYU). He writes, translates, draws, and makes music (singing, upright bass).
