Still Can't Do My Daughter's Hair is the latest poetry manuscript from writer and performer William Evans. In celebration of it's publication, we'll be holding a release party filled with performances from outstanding poets, capped off by William reading poems from the book. More details to come.
Praise for the book:
"These poems be a steel-toed boot, a pick-up game on a block where nobody is checking for you and still can't check you. William Evans proves he is, in fact, never scared." - Mahogany L. Browne
"In Still Can’t, readers are introduced to a speaker who negotiates communion and solitude in order to understand themselves and the world in which they live. Evans offers a vital reflection in these times and a beautiful read at all times." - Airea Matthews
