COMMUNITY COLLECTIVE READING: the poems of Lucie Brock-Broido

This summer we are starting a new free series at Berl’s of collective readings, mostly on weekend afternoons, where we will spend several hours reading “marathon-style” long poems and other works. Books will be available at the reading and a live sign-up will be available though we ask if possible to consider signing up for a time slot to read in advance.

Our first event on Saturday 8/3 (starting at 1:30pm) will celebrate the work of Lucie Brock-Broido by reading four of her books: A Hunger, The Master Letters, Trouble In Mind and Stay, Illusion.

On Saturday 8/10 we will read Emily Wilson’s new translation of Homer’s The Odyssey.

Hope you will join us!
