Cecilia Pavón was born in Mendoza, Argentina, in 1973 and has lived in Buenos Aires since 1992. She holds a B.A. in Literature from the University of Buenos Aires. In 2012, she published her collected poetry in Un hotel con mi nombre (A Hotel With My Name). Her other publications include 27 poemas con nombres de persona (2010), The ebook Once Sur (2012), the short-story collections: Los sueños no tienen copyright (2010) and Pequeño recuento sobre mis faltas (2015). In 2015, Sand Paper Press published a selection of her translated writings in the anthology Belleza y Felicidad. Thus far, Scrambler Books has published A Hotel With My Name and Licorice Candies, the first two volumes of her collected writings. She currently lives in Buenos Aires, where she works as a literary translator from German and English into Spanish. She has translated such authors as Diederich Diederichsen, Isabelle Graw, Mercedes Bunz, and Werner Schroeter from German, and Chris Kraus, Ariana Reines, and Dorothea Lasky, among others, from English.

Jacob Steinberg was born in Stony Brook, New York, in 1989. He has published the full-length poetry collection Before You Kneels My Silence (2014). As a translator he has worked with Cecilia Pavón (A Hotel With My Name and Licorice Candies), CAConrad (El libro de Frank), and Mario Bellatin (Jacob the Mutant), among others. He currently lives in New York.

Alan Felsenthal is the author of Lowly (Ugly Duckling Presse, 2017). He runs a small press called The Song Cave with Ben Estes. Together they edited A Dark Dreambox of Another Kind: The Poems of Alfred Starr Hamilton (2013). He teaches at Columbia University and lives in New York.

Malén Denis (1989, Buenos Aires, Argentina) is the daughter of a psychoanalyst and granddaughter of a domestic worker. She studied Photography, Audiovisual Production and has a Master's Degree in Creative Writing from the University of Tres de Febrero. She also studied English Philosophy and Literature. Author of poetry books With a Sonic Youth T-shirt , Search drugs on Wikipedia , A great glass fire (Nulú Bonsai) and Brilliant (Ludwig), and a novel, Lithium. She has also translated poetry books from English to Spanish and works as a feminist cultural journalist.
