Oki Sogumi, Lara Mimosa Montes, Aldrin Valdez & Kate Schapira

Oki Sogumi was born in Seoul, Korea and resides in Philadelphia, USA. Their chapbooks include Underglazy (Portable Press at Yo-Yo Labs, 2014) and Smear Jelly, Dreaming a Goo Daughter, & Time Travel and Friendship (Museum of Expensive Things, 2016). She is currently writing a speculative novel (forthcoming from Publication Studio Oakland) and into little boxes on the internet.

Lara Mimosa Montes is a writer based in New York and Minneapolis. Her writing has appeared in Fence, Triple Canopy, The Third Rail and elsewhere. Currently, she is a PhD candidate in English at The Graduate Center, City University of New York. She also teaches poetry at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Her first book, The Somnambulist, is forthcoming from Horse Less Press. She was born in the Bronx.

Aldrin Valdez is a Pinoy painterpoet. They grew up in Manila and Long Island and currently live in Brooklyn. Aldrin studied at Pratt Institute and the School of Visual Arts. They have been awarded fellowships from Queer/Art/Mentorship and Poets House. Their work has been published in Art21 Magazine, ArtSlant, BRIC Blog, The Cortland Review, In the Flesh Magazine, and Uncompromising Tang.

Kate Schapira is the author of five books of poetry, most recently Handbook For Hands That Alter As We Hold Them Out (Horse Less Press), and eleven chapbooks, most recently Someone Is Here (Projective Industries). A full-length collaboration with Erika Howsare, FILL: A Collection, will appear later in 2016. She lives in Providence, RI, where she writes, teaches, co-runs the Publicly Complex Reading Series, and periodically offers climate anxiety counseling.
